Dr. Charles MitchellDr. Mitchell has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and is a physician at a major Charlotte-based healthcare system. He has given national presentations on economic social determinants of health with goals of improving healthcare access for the uninsured and underinsured population. He hopes to bring a unique perspective to the board and present opportunities for growth in collaborative programmatic development and fundraising. Charlie joined the board in 2021.

Ron Ulibarri, DevelopmentRon is honored to be a part of the Assist ME mission by helping those in need with vital medical equipment. He brings 38 years of experience as a former Federal manager and provides a focus to grant writing and business operations. Ron is married with no children and enjoys helping at his church, photography and travel.

Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Coastal Carolina University and a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Utica College. I have a diverse range of clinical experience working with adults and pediatrics. I am passionate about working with individuals of all ages in order to increase their independence and quality of life.

Kyle Taura, TreasurerKyle is a Partner with Garden City, an investment firm that buys and holds service companies in the Southeast. Kyle has spent the past 10 years in various corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions roles, including 3 years in corporate banking at Bank of America, Merrill Lynch and 7 years in private equity. Kyle has a B.S. in Finance and an M.S. in Accountancy, both from Wake Forest University.
